    Biography

    Fashion Photographer Markus Klinko began his adult life as a classical musician. At age 15 he entered the Paris National Conservatory to study the classical concert harp, then had an illustrious career as an international harp soloist and recording artist for EMI Classics. Represented by Columbia Artists Management, Markus performed throughout North America, Europe and Asia, receiving great critical acclaim and was featured in such publications as Vanity Fair, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and The New York Times. In 1994, after winning the Grand Prix de Disque for his last recording with the Paris Opera Bastille Orchestra, Klinko decided to turn his focus to the visual realm, as a fashion photographer.

    Indrani, a digital artist and creative director, grew up in India and Toronto, Canada, then entered the fashion business as a model at the age of 14. She studied photography and philosophy while modeling around the world for 10 years, and graduated in 2001 from Princeton University.

    Together, Markus and Indrani experimented with various techniques, and quickly developed a photographic style involving elaborate lighting and digital technology. They are now based in New York. Their work is seen regularly in magazines, advertising campaigns and on album covers. They also regularly participate in various book projects and exhibitions.
